My mom served dessert after dinner every night at our house. It was kind of an incentive to choke down those darn peas that made me gag as if I was going to die! Whether you choose to use a sweet treat as an incentive to your kiddies, need a potluck 'wow', and or like to cook and treat yourself once in a while...I promise you will find something from the lenses presented here.

So What is Dessert?
Dessert is a course that typically comes at the end of a meal, usually consisting of sweet food but sometimes of a strongly-flavored one, such as some cheeses. The word comes from the French language as dessert and this from Old French desservir, "to clear the table" and "to serve." Common desserts include cakes, cookies, fruits, pastries, ice cream, and candies.
